More Workers Needed!

And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest. (Luke 10:2, ESV)
I want to take a moment and challenge you to pray today for those who are without the reach of the Gospel message. The Joshua Project (www.joshuaproject.net) lists the following world stats:

     Do you see what these numbers are telling us? 2.84 billion souls have never heard “for God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should never perish but have eternal life.” Can you imagine having never heard that? At least in America, we have the option of not believing it. We can hear the Good News in Sunday School or from our parents and then choose whether or not to believe it. But a huge chuck of the world (almost 7 times the population of America) has never heard the life-altering message of Jesus Christ.
Please take time today and  pray for the Lord to send more laborers into the harvest.
